Katsunobu Yaguchi

Lives and works in Ibaraki Japan

Based on his original idea regarding the expression called “drawing,” Katsunobu Yaguchi has conducted various social practices through diverse media in order to examine his identity as a Japanese who lives in contemporary society. Starting with performances open to improvisation, his wide-ranging activity covers from photography, sculpture, repair or demolition of a building, to ones based on daily living such as running a café, issuance of a newspaper, and even holding a festival.
